Raikkonen cracks top three on day one at Monza

Following his best result of the season last time out at Spa-Francorchamps, Kimi Raikkonen presented further evidence that he is beginning to find his form again at Ferrari as he ended the first day of free practice for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza in third place. Leading a Ferrari 3-4 behind the dominant Mercedes' in FP2, Raikkonen spent the afternoon focusing on tyre compounds, in doing so producing a 1min 26.331secs lap time to finish little more than a tenth adrift of Nico Rosberg.
