Caterham confirm Lotterer's Spa drive

Caterham have announced that Andre Lotterer will race in Belgium this weekend, replacing Kamui Kobayashi. After days of speculation, Caterham confirmed on Wednesday that Lotterer, who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship, will line-up on the grid for "this round of the championship". The German racer will replace Kobayashi for the Spa weekend although the team were quick to stress that the Japanese driver remains a part of Caterham. The 32-year-old Lotterer said: "I am delighted to be given the opportunity to take part in a Formula One race weekend - I want to thank Caterham F1 Team for this chance.
