Hamilton's session was over before he had completed a timed lap as he pulled in to the pit lane with his car on fire. With marshals attempting to put out the flames at the pit lane entry, Hamilton was left to look at the smoking Mercedes and dejectedly walk back to the team's garage with either a back row or pit lane...
