Mercedes fire knocks Hamilton out of Q1

Lewis Hamilton's qualifying session ended before he had completed a timed lap as his Mercedes caught fire at the Hungaroring. A week after a brake failure saw Hamilton crash out of Q1 in Germany, he was again hit by reliability issues as flames started emerging from the rear of his car as he exited Turn 13 towards the end of his first timed lap. Hamilton pulled in to the pit lane and stopped next to marshals who worked to extinguish the fire, with Hamilton left to walk away from his Mercedes having not set a time. Pastor Maldonado had also already stopped on track on his first lap of the session, meaning the two drivers will start either from the back row of the grid or the pit lane. A...
