Maldonado: Potential for tough weekend

Although a fan of the Hockenheim circuit, Pastor Maldonado concedes it could be "tough" German GP for his Lotus team. Maldonado heads into race 10 of the 2014 F1 Championship still seeking his first point of the campaign and his first as a Lotus driver. While the Venezuelan has struggled to adapt to his new E22, he has also been let down by reliability issues with both the car and its Renault engine. Heading to Hockenheim, though, he is hoping to finally get off the mark but admits it could be a difficult weekend. "I have raced at Hockenheim both with GP2 and F1," he said.
