Grosjean: Germany a test of Lotus progress

Romain Grosjean believes the German Grand Prix will be a test of how far Lotus has progressed so far this season. After limited running pre-season, Lotus has struggled for both reliability and pace on a number of occasions, leading to a total of just eight points so far in 2014. With the German Grand Prix taking place at Hockenheim this year there are fewer high-speed corners and the focus will be on traction – an area which Grosjean says Lotus has been concentrating on trying to find more pace. “We've worked hard to improve performance in the low-speed corners, so Hockenheim will be a good test of how much we've progressed,” Grosjean said. “Apart from the run down to the hairpin...
