Every industry has its clichés, its jargon. Thankfully, the world of Formula One cares little for 'blue sky concepts' or life outside any box that doesn't involve a pit crew. Instead, F1 relies on technology transfer and industry relevance to be the clichés that justify heavy investment of both time and money into ideas both genius and hare-brained.
