McLaren: We got some good running completed

After a day’s break, and following on from Sunday’s Santander British Grand Prix, the McLaren team resumed running at Silverstone this morning, completing the first of a two-day test on the grand prix circuit.
It is the third in-season test of the year, following sessions in Bahrain and Barcelona, and an end-of-season event in Abu Dhabi.
Today’s running was conducted by the team’s official reserve driver, Belgian Stoffel Vandoorne.
The team spent the morning focusing on aerodynamic correlation and brake development, logging 29 laps before the lunchbreak. The afternoon was spent conducting set-up changes and gathering tyre data – although progress was affected by...
