Gutierrez handed grid penalty for Maldonado collisionPosted On 06 Jul 2014By : thisisf1Comment: 0 Sauber’s Esteban Gutierrez has been handed a three-place grid drop penalty for the German Grand Prix for he made a clash with Pastor Maldonado during the British Grand Prix.
Maldonado’s car flies into the air after a collision following Esteban made a cruel overtaking attempt, and he landed inside the track, less than 10 laps into the race.
Gutierrez responsible the Venezuelan for their collision, explaining: 'When I tried to overtake him at Turn 16 he braked and did not leave me enough space.
