Bottas admits Williams pace surprising

– Williams driver Valtteri Bottas has admitted to surprise over his pace during the British Grand Prix.The Finn avoided the drama of the initial race start before gradually working his way up to order with a series of fine overtaking manoeuvres.When Mercedes' Nico Roberg retired amid gearbox problems, Bottas inherited second, a position he held until the chequered flag."We knew that we have a quick car, but it was surprisingly quick today," said Bottas."In the first stint the pace was very good and I was able to go through the field quite well.
