Maldonado excluded from qualifying over fuel breach
– Pastor Maldonado has been excluded from the results of British Grand Prix qualifying for a fuel breach.The Lotus driver qualified 15th during Saturday afternoon's session, but his Lotus machine had an insufficient amount of fuel to provide a sample, with the stewards deciding to remove him from the classification.Maldonado can, however, start ahead of the two Caterham drivers, who failed to reach the 107 per cent time."There was an insufficient amount of fuel to provide a 1.0 ltr fuel sample and therefore this is in breach og Article 6.6.2 of the FIA Formula One Technical Regulations," read a statement issued by the stewarding panel.
