Whiting confirms 'zero tolerance' approach to track limits

Race Director Charlie Whiting has said that, as in Austria, he is to adopt a 'zero tolerance' approach to drivers exceeding the track limits.In Austria two weeks ago a number of drivers had their qualifying times disallowed after running wide in the final corner.With drivers now trying their luck at Silverstone, Whiting has made it clear that such practices will no longer be tolerated.A brief statement issued this morning reads:'Further to the discussion in the drivers meeting yesterday evening I would like to remind all teams and drivers that we will adopt a 'zero tolerance' approach to cars leaving the track on the exit of turns 9 (Club) and 18 (Copse) during qualifying.Unless we are...
