Lotus reserve Sorensen joins MP Motorsport

Marco Sorensen Lotus F1 Team reserve driver Marco Sorensen joins MP Motorsport starting from this weekend at Silverstone. This will be the first time that the 23 year-old Danish will be at the wheel of a GP2 car. With support from key commercial partner Saxo Bank, Sorensen makes his debut in GP2 Series after an impressive career in single-seaters where, in recent years, he has competed in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series as a Lotus F1 Team ‘junior driver’. “We’re absolutely delighted to announce Marco is joining MP Motorsport, he’s a fantastic young driver and his position as official reserve driver for the Lotus F1 Team speaks for itself”, commented team principal Sander Dorsman,...
