Lotus: We struggled to get good one lap pace
Pastor Maldonado
Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado completed 131 laps of the Austrian Grand Prix circuit in Spielberg today, concentrating on set-up and tyre evaluations ahead of tomorrow’s qualifying session. The strong haul of laps has given the team a feast of data to dissect to find improvements for the rest of the weekend.
Alan Permane, Trackside Operations Director – Technical programme notes: We worked on set-up and understanding the circuit with different fuel and tyre configurations.
Pirelli’s soft (yellow) compound tyre was used in the morning session and the soft and super soft (red) in the afternoon.
