Hamilton heads Rosberg in second practice

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time during the second free practice session ahead of this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix. Hamilton set a couple of quick times during a qualifying simulation to post a 1:09.542s to end the 90 minute session over three-tenths of a second quicker than Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg. Fernando Alonso was third quickest for Ferrari, albeit almost a second down on Hamilton, as he occasionally struggled with the handling of the F14T. Williams continued their promising recent form with their two drivers separated by just 0.002s as they rounded out the top five, Valtteri Bottas ahead of Felipe Massa.
