Fuel leak and power unit damage ended Kvyat's session early

dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.15;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;">   6th June, 2014 (F1 Plus / Rosie Baillie) - A fuel leak which resulted in damage to the power unit ended FP2 early for Daniil Kvyat. Ricardo Penteado, Renault Sport F1 track support leader, says Kvyat’s power unit will need to be replaced but is confident the same issue will not reoccur with the new unit. “Daniil also had a tough FP1 and then aborted his afternoon session with a fuel leak that damaged some of the internals of the Power Unit.” Penteado said. “We’ll have to change the PU but with a new unit we are hopeful we won’t see the same issues again over the rest of the...
