Vergne not worrying about Red Bull axe
– Jean-Eric Vergne has said he is not worried he will be dropped by Scuderia Toro Rosso at the end of this year and has said he knows Red Bull believe in him and his abilities.Vergne began the 2014 Formula 1 season well and was eighth in Australia. However, since then he has had a miserable run of luck, in some ways he is in danger of being overshadowed by his rookie team-mate Daniil Kvyat.Speaking to italiaracing.net when it was put to him that no driver has ever done more than three seasons at Toro Rosso – the Frenchman is currently in his third year with Red Bull's 'B' team, he replied: "Well if it is as you say, then there is little to do.
