'Rosberg extends Mercedes contract'

– Nico Rosberg has signed a two-year contract extension with Mercedes, according to the BBC.Rosberg's agreement with the Silver Arrows was reportedly set to expire at the end of the 2014 campaign, but a spokesman for the team made clear in Monte-Carlo: "We have long term relationships with both our drivers."Following compliments from Mercedes chiefs Dieter Zetsche and Toto Wolff, Rosberg's reported renewal puts an end to speculation linking Ferrari's Fernando Alonso to a switch, as the Italian marque struggles for form.Rosberg claimed victory at the opening race of the season in Australia, and has finished second to team-mate Lewis Hamilton, who initially signed on a...
