Newey commits future to Red Bull amid Ferrari talk

Adrian Newey says his future remains tied to Red Bull, despite Ferrari's reported offer of a £12 million ($20m, €14.8m) annual salary - £5 million more than he earns with his current employer. The Briton has been the target of several recent approaches, but Ferrari, desperate to taste success, made a fresh offer to the designer recently which would have put him on a similar wage to star driver Fernando Alonso. In a short statement however, Newey quashed the rumours surrounding his future. "I remain committed to Red Bull for the foreseeable future," he said.
