Adrian Newey rejects Ferrari overtures
Getty Images Enlarge Adrian Newey has rejected overtures to move to Ferrari, telling journalists in Monaco that he remained "committed to Red Bull for the foreseeable future". There had been speculation that Newey, who is Red Bull's chief technical officer, was being lined up by Ferrari to try to turn round its fortunes, with reports suggesting it was prepared to pay up to £20 million a year to bring him on board. Ferrari has not won a grand prix in over a year and are already a long way behind Mercedes in this years' constructors' championship even if they are a close third to Red Bull.
