Maldonado: Barcelona our first normal test

– Pastor Maldonado felt positive about Lotus's progress after experiencing his "first normal test" of 2014. After test driver Charles Pic racked up 70 laps on the opening day of the post-Spanish Grand Prix gathering in Barcelona, the Venezuelan added 102 more to the tally 24 hours later en route to topping the timesheets. "It was our first normal test session without any problems," Maldonado commented. "Tuesday was a good day, but on my day it was important to run our programme. We were able to complete all of our plan which is positive. "We are happy as we did not have any big issues. We are learning more from the car, getting better and better."...
