Mateschitz concedes Mercedes unlikely to be caught

Red Bull's owner, billionaire Dietrich Mateschitz, has somewhat already conceded defeat in the battle for the 2014 Formula 1 World Championship. Whilst he's adamant Red Bull won't give up pushing this year, he doesn't believe they can do enough to catch Mercedes - and even if they can win races, closing the 113-point gap will be difficult. "We probably cannot catch up the advantage that Mercedes has," he told Germany's Bild. "I don't think we can challenge the points lead, even if we are winning [races] again," he added. "At the same time the others will still be scoring enough points so that their lead is not challenged." The Austrian is however willing...
