Russian Grand Prix will happen, says Todt

– FIA President Jean Todt has insisted the inaugural Russian Grand Prix will go ahead this season. The event is due to take place in October at the newly built Sochi International Street Circuit. However, with the crisis between Moscow and the Ukraine showing no signs of easing, and with the World Superbike Championship recently announcing the cancellation of their Russian round, which was due to take place in September at the Moscow Raceway, it has led to speculation the F1 event might fall by the wayside as well.
