FE: Virgin announces Bird, Alguersuari for Formula E

Virgin Racing has become the second team to announce its driver line-up for the 2014/15 Formula E Championship, with former F1 driver Jaime Alguersuari and 2013 GP2 runner-up Sam Bird set to compete in the inaugural series. A return to the motorsport arena for Virgin after a brief foray into Formula 1, the brand – which has involvement across a broad spectrum of industries, including aviation, entertainment and banking -, is one of ten teams lined up to compete in the all-electric series.
