Lewis plays down radio calls
New World Championship leader Lewis Hamilton has played down his tetchy radio exchanges with his race engineer during the course of his Spanish GP win. With the outcome of Sunday's Barcelona race again coming down to a straight duel between the Mercedes' of Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, the battle between the pair increased in intensity from the middle stint onwards as they adopted different tyre strategies.
With the race-leading Hamilton on the faster medium tyres for the second stint, the Briton was told he needed to increase his then four-second advantage over the sister car by three seconds before his switch to the harder tyres at his next stop, in order to ward off Rosberg's expected...
