Rosberg tops final Spanish GP practice as Mercedes continues to dominate

Nico Rosberg continued Mercedes’ domination of the Spanish Grand Prix weekend with fastest in final practice. Rosberg saw off his team-mate Lewis Hamilton to top the final practice session ahead of qualifying with a lap of 1:25.887 after a late foray onto the faster medium tyres. Hamilton, who opted not to complete a second run on the medium tyres ended the morning second, some eight tenths shy of Rosberg’s session topping time, while Fernando Alonso managed third in front of his home crowd. **More to follow**
