Renault – Late payments from teams could compromise recovery programme

Renault Sport has revealed that its recovery programme could be compromised as a result of late payments from some of the teams that they supply.  Renault put a recovery programme in place following a disastrous opening to their pre-season preparations, in an effort to recover lost ground to rival power unit suppliers Mercedes and Ferrari. This programme has been paid for principally by the Renault motor company, but also supported by the payments collected from the teams that the French firm supply in F1, those being Red Bull, Toro Rosso, Caterham and Lotus.
