Force India confirms Smirnoff deal

Sahara Force India Force India has confirmed they have signed a partnership with vodka manufacturer Smirnoff. Force India say that the deal is a 'fan-centric alliance [that] will be focused on helping lovers of the sport get closer to drivers, nearer to top quality race action and further away from exclusivity.' Smirnoff and Force India will also use their partnership to 'deliver a powerful anti-drink drive message'. Smirnoff branding will feature on the sidepods of the VJM07 from next weekend's Spanish Grand Prix, as well as on the rear wing and on driver overalls. "It’s fantastic to see Smirnoff join the world of Formula One," said Force India team principal Vijay Mallya....
