Alonso dedicates first '14 podium to Domenicali

Ferrari's Fernando Alonso dedicated the teams first podium of 2014 to former team principal Stefano Domenicali, who resigned from the position last week. The Italian's decision to step down came as a surprise and was motivated by recent form, with the team having failed to score a podium in the first three races. However that changed on Sunday in China when Alonso took third place behind the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. "I think this podium should be dedicated to Stefano, as everything we do up to July will also be the result of his efforts," said the Spaniard.
