Hamilton learns little from opening day

ewis Hamilton says he learned little from the opening day of practice for the Chinese Grand Prix, despite setting the pace. The Mercedes driver bounced back from a suspension problem in the closing stages of the day's first session to lead the way in the afternoon, eclipsing Ferrari rival Fernando Alonso by a margin of 0.141 seconds. But he is yet to feel comfortable behind the wheel of his Silver Arrows machine, leaving him cautious over his chances as the weekend develops.
