Red Bull loses Ricciardo exclusion appeal

Red Bull Racing has lost its appeal against Daniel Ricciardo's exclusion from the 2014 Australian Grand Prix, following a hearing of the International Court of Appeal in Paris. Ricciardo finished the season opener in second place but was disqualified from the race after stewards found that his Renault-powered RB10 has consistently exceeded the fuel flow rate limit of 100kg/h. Red Bull immediately appealed the decision, saying they used their own equipment to measure the fuel flow due to reliability issues with the FIA sensor.
