Maldonado, Gutiérrez move on from collision
– Pastor Maldonado says he has smoothed things over with Esteban Gutiérrez after their clash in Bahrain. The Lotus driver, who had just departed the pit lane, tipped his Sauber rival into a violent roll during the closing stages of the Grand Prix, an incident that saw Gutiérrez taken to a nearby hospital for precautionary checks. "We have been in touch," said Maldonado, who was given a 10 second stop/go penalty, three penalty points and a five-place grid penalty for the upcoming Chinese Grand Prix by the stewards for his role in the accident.
