Ricciardo praying for more rain

Daniel Ricciardo is hoping that Sunday's Malaysian Grand Prix will take place in wet conditions following a strong showing from Red Bull Racing in qualifying. Torrential rain meant the first session was delayed by 50 minutes and when it did restart, the track failed to dry out. However, Ricciardo and his team-mate Sebastian Vettel performed well in the tricky conditions. The Aussie, who will line up on the grid in fifth place, feels the team has a better chance of challenging at the front if rain arrives for the race.
