Hülkenberg: Wheelspin causing rear tyre degradation

– Nico Hülkenberg says that the extra wheelspin caused by this year's power units are providing excessive rear tyre wear to the Pirelli rubber at this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix. Hülkenberg was 10th quickest during the second free practice session and survived a lurid moment when he ran onto the gravel under braking for the final corner. Hülkenberg was one of few drivers to voice concerns over tyre wear after suffering from front tyre graining in Australia, but this time it was the rears that caused Hülkenberg a challenge.
