Hamilton: Long way to go

– Lewis Hamilton is confident he will be able to bounce back in Malaysia later this month in the wake of his early exit from the Australian Grand Prix. Hamilton puts his Mercedes on pole position for the 2014 Formula 1 season opener in Melbourne but had to retire after just two laps due to an engine problem. It was a bitterly disappointing end to the weekend for the Englishman, especially as his team-mate, Nico Rosberg romped home and took an easy win. “It's unfortunate but that's racing and we will recover from this,” Hamilton remarked. “We have a great car and engine, and the pace was really strong as Nico clearly showed.
