Kvyat surprised to score points on F1 debut

Daniil Kvyat says he never expected to score points on his Formula 1 debut, after finishing 10th in the 2014 curtain raiser in Australia. The 2013 GP3 champion put in a strong performance to become the youngest ever points scorer in the history of the sport at the age of just 19 years and 322 days, snatching the record away from four-time champion Sebastian Vettel. Commenting on his first F1 race, he said: 'It was a very intense afternoon and finishing my first race with a point is a great feeling. It was a fantastic first Grand Prix weekend with the team, everyone worked really hard and scoring points was a great way to end it. So well done to everyone. 'The start was a bit messy, but...
