Vettel, Magnussen and Alonso cleared of qualifying infringements

Sebastian Vettel, Kevin Magnussen and Fernando Alonso all avoided penalties after being investigated by the stewards for alleged infringements during qualifying. Four-time champion Vettel was summoned to the stewards for an 'alleged failure to slow for yellow flags in Turns 3 and 4″ following Kimi Raikkonen's late crash during the second qualifying session. McLaren rookie Magnussen was also under investigation for the same incident. The Danish driver improved on his fastest time and made it through to Q3, knocking out his team-mate Jenson Button.
