Caterham duo remaining positive despite disastrous Friday in Australia

The Caterham duo of Kamui Kobayashi and Marcus Ericsson are remaining positive despite a disastrous opening day to their preparations ahead of the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, where the Leafield-based outfit only managed to complete three laps altogether throughout the two practice sessions. Kamui Kobayashi was struck with a fuel system issue, whereas rookie Marcus Ericsson was plagued with an electrical and hydraulic issue. Initially the opening day of the new season began with a sense of optimism in the air for the likes of Marussia and Caterham, with a shake-up in the pecking order potentially the key to a productive weekend for the outfits.
