Schumacher remains in wake-up phase

Sutton Images Enlarge Michael Schumacher is still in a wake-up phase from his medically-induced coma, according to the latest statement released by his management. It is the first official update on his condition in three weeks, but his management made clear his condition has not changed and that unofficial reports cannot be trusted. "Michael is still in the wake up phase," read Friday's statement. "The situation has not changed. Any medical information published which is not confirmed by the team of doctors treating Michael or his management has to be considered as not valid."
