Caterham: Kobayashi sets benchmark for us

– Caterham team boss Cyril Abiteboul has hailed Kamui Kobayashi and the contribution the Japanese driver has made during pre-season testing. Kobayashi, who has previously raced for Toyota and Sauber, returns to F1 this season after spending 2013 on the sidelines, and while he has been critical of the Leafield-based operation - and recently said the CT05 was slower than a GP2 car! - it seems the honeymoon period is not yet over. “Kamui has shown [during testing] exactly why we are so pleased to have him with us.
