Perez retains top spot on day two of final pre-season test

The final pre-season test of the 2014 Formula 1 season continued on Friday, with Sergio Perez remaining at the top of the timesheets for Force India. It was another mixed day for the 11 drivers taking part in the session, with even the Mercedes-powered runners suffering from mechanical issues. Mercedes, Lotus and Caterham were forced to cut short their running and McLaren lost a large amount of track time due to a problem with the MP4-29. However, it was another trouble-free test session for Sergio Perez.
