Lotus anticipate late start to final day

Lotus F1 Team Lotus says that their running on the fourth day of the second pre-season test in Bahrain may be delayed. Pastor Maldonado encountered gearbox problems and the team needs to send parts from the team's UK factory to the circuit before they can run the E22. Maldonado completed 26 laps in the new car and set the eighth fastest time but stopped out on track on two occasions. "We started the day with a promising morning," said trackside operations director Alan Permane. "Pastor settled in very quickly and we were able to make some progress with the car.
