Pic confirmed as Lotus third driver
Former Marussia and Caterham racer Charles Pic has joined the Lotus F1 Team as its third driver for the 2014 F1 season.
The Frenchman made his F1 debut in 2012 for the Marussia squad, before switching to rivals Caterham last year. He lost his drive to Kamui Kobayashi for this season after a rather anonymous campaign, but has now joined the Lotus outfit.
He will partner race drivers Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado at the Enstone-based team and will conduct simulator work for Lotus as well as offering support on race weekends.
