Pic joins Lotus as third driver
Lotus F1 Team
Charles Pic has joined Lotus as the team's third driver.
Pic has spent the last two years racing in Formula 1 with Marussia and Caterham but did not retain his seat for the 2014 season.
The Frenchman will now act as the reserve to compatriot Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado.
"I am very excited to join a top team and Lotus has certainly shown that they are a top team in this sport," he said.
"It’s a great honour for me and I will be working hard to give my best to the team throughout 2014.
