Rush denied by BAFTA
Motorsport movie Rush emerged from Sunday night's BAFTA awards ceremony with a single success, but was denied in the two leading categories where it had received a nomination.The film's sole win came among the technical awards, where Dan Hanley and Mike Hill picked up one of the famous 'mask' trophies for their editing talents, but elsewhere Ron Howard's recreation of the 1976 F1 world championship battle between James Hunt and Niki Lauda came up empty-handed.In all, the film had picked up four nominations, but saw its bid for Outstanding British Film thwarted by the all-conquering Gravity, while Daniel Bruhl, who played Lauda opposite Chris Hemsworth's Hunt, was denied Best Supporting...
