Magnussen sure more to come from McLaren

Kevin Magnussen says he expects to go even quicker on Friday after setting the fastest time of the third day of testing at Jerez.The McLaren rookie had to wait for Jenson Button to drive the MP4-29 in the morning on Thursday before taking over the car in the afternoon, but he ended the day at the top of the time sheets and 1.7s quicker than his team-mate. With the McLaren having been fastest on both days it has run, Magnussen insisted the team has yet to set its quickest time of the week.“This week I'm sure we will improve,” Magnussen said. “We know where we want to improve and I'm sure we will learn more tomorrow.
