Rosberg buoyed by Merc mileage
Nico Rosberg says it is vital Mercedes now maintain the mileage momentum built up with their W05 after enjoying a "great" Day Two recovery at Jerez.From an initial promising start to F1's new era when testing began in southern Spain on Tuesday when the Brackley team took to the track first, Lewis Hamilton's subsequent heavy lunchtime crash following a front-wing failure put the team, many pundits' favourites for the 2014 title, on the backfoot heading into Wednesday.
Replacement parts were flown in from Mercedes' Brackley base overnight as the team's engineers worked on a fix for the failure, with the W05 eventually returning to the circuit just before midday, nearly 24 hours...
