Lotus in talks with Whitmarsh

In what could turn out to be a straight swap, Lotus have reportedly approached Martin Whitmarsh about the vacant team boss job. Last Friday, Lotus announced that team boss Eric Boullier had left the team with immediate effect with Gerard Lopez taking the reigns. And although McLaren have yet to confirm a vacancy, Boullier is believed to be on his way to McLaren, replacing the beleaguered Whitmarsh. In turn Whitmarsh could yet take Boullier's place at Lotus.
