First laps for Merc, STR, Force India
Mercedes, Toro Rosso and Force India all made use of a 'filming day' on Friday as they put the first laps on their 2014 cars.
Mercedes were in action at Silverstone in the still-to-be-launched W05 with Nico Rosberg in the cockpit.
The German covered 40 kilometres during a two-hour session.
Earlier in the day, Force India had been in action at the British track with Nico Hulkenberg driving the VJM07.
Meanwhile, Toro Rosso put in the laps at Misano in Italy where both Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniil Kyvat spent time in the car.
None of the teams released pictures while fans will have to wait until next week's launches to see the STR and the W05, which will only break cover on the first day of...
