Mercedes and Caterham release new V6 audio
Mercedes and Caterham have both released an audio snippet from their turbocharged V6 engines ahead of the first official pre-season test in Jerez, which gets underway in just four days' time.
Mercedes was one of three teams to give its 2014 car a shakedown today as Nico Rosberg completed 40km of running at Silverstone in the W05. The audio clip has been greeted with a positive reaction from fans who had initially been skeptical about the sound of the downsized engines. Further to that, Caterham – who unveiled a new minty fresh brand image earlier this week – also released their audio clip.
